The Charter Vessel SLAMMER is a 50' fiberglass boat with a 14' beam.
In 2006, Rhett dropped in a 526HP John Deere diesel engine. In 2008, she was lengthened to 50' LOA (length-overall). In 2012 she got a facelift (paint and new rails) and a nose job (raised bow). The SLAMMER is as close to ADA compliant as we can get: there is a 31" gate which sits flush to the dock for easy access. The entrance to the cabin is 29" and the head is 27" wide. Rhett has also custom-designed a rail seat for those who have difficulties with maneuverability. |
